Pantone has announced its Colour of the Year for 2020, revealing “Classic Blue“ – 19-4052-TCX as the “INSPIRING” shade to represent this year. Over the past decade, Pantone Institute has chosen a different colour as its Colour of the Year that the organisation believes is an example of their modern society.
This marks the 7th time that a shade of blue has been chosen, with Cerulean being selected at the very beginning of the institution they chose – aqua sky in 2003 and a very beautiful blue turquoise two years later.
Blue is a very dominant colour, worn on its own as a real statement piece, or a blend of plain and pattern together works.
Most fashion-conscious women will already have classic blue clothes within their wardrobe. So by adding a touch of this to your everyday clothes, like a blouse or jacket, your keeping bang on-trend. This shade will not only alleviate the blues that you get when waking up on a cold wet winter Monday morning in England, but it’s also easy to wear and make you feel warm and brighter ready for the day.
