Welcome to my Surface Pattern Marketplace page. My name is Catherine Power (Cat Power) I am a surface pattern designer based in London. I studied and graduated in Design Crafts specializing in printed textiles from Cumbria Institute of the Arts. My career began in printed textile design for a furnishing fabrics Company based in my home city of Manchester. I moved to London to become a freelance surface pattern designer. My designs are commercial, I keep up to date with current trends and always keep a keen eye on the trend forecasts for the coming seasons. I am so happy to be accepted to Surface Pattern Marketplace, I get lost in design, it the most calming and therapeutic experience to create patterns from millions of ideas stored in my mind, I find inspiration everywhere and see a pattern in so many things, to be creative completes my life.
